Job Description :

The core activities for this role are:

1.       To carry out pre-sales activities and Bid support to enable realisation of business opportunities for Mobility Professional Services(Mobile Packet Core Technology).

2.       To proactively track the sales pipeline for Cisco Mobility Professional Services and to communicate the status of presales activities                                                                                                                                                                                                            

3.       Work with the Flint Mobility Services Business Development teams in EMEAR

4.       Support the Flint Account Managers in developing and winning project related business

5.       To provide thought leadership and innovation towards for customer propositions and proposals

6.       To provide input to improve, change and develop the Mobility Services Catalogue

 

 

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of this role are:

Pres Sales

·         Work with the Flint (and on occasions Cisco) Mobility Services Business Development teams in EMEAR

·         Understand and position the Service Catalogue towards the Customer BDMs and Sales teams

·         Understand service provider roadmaps (T1,T2 and T3) generally and the Cisco product roadmap in detail.

·         Provide support to Mobility RFPs, such support to include scoping, risk analysis, timelines, deliverables, assumptions and dependencies

Sales

·         Support the Flint and CSS sales team to ensure successful bidding of project related services proposals to our Customers (measured by Win rate, presales cost, bid quality, time, scope and customer satisfaction)

·         To work very closely with the delivery organisation to ensure and maintain appropriate organisational structures and skill sets to ensure successful bids and service delivery contractual fulfilment

·         Support the forecasting of business needs in terms of finance, people, equipment and competence based on Sales plans

Service Delivery

·         Provide input for new services for the Mobility Services Catalogue and to improve RFQ /RFP responses

·         Support the definition of innovative ways of delivering Services

·         Estimate of future resource requirements (numbers, competence and recruitment of) for service delivery

·         Suggest the performance KPI’s aligned with the overall business goals

 

 

 

Performance Metrics

The key performance metrics of this role are:

·         Bookings delivered

·         Bid to Win ratio

·         Return on Pre-Sales investment

·         Number of customer case studies developed

·         Accuracy of the Sales Pipeline

This role can be demanding at times and hence requires a high level of personal commitment and drive. There are no defined hours as there is an expectation that the hours executed by the role holder will be those necessary to create successful outcomes.

The following personal attributes will therefore be needed for this role to be successful.

·         Good understanding of SP market

·         Experience of Services (Professional Services, Mgd Services and Day 2 support services)

·         Knowledge of vendor solutions for Mobility and Mobility architectures

·         Experience with working with major NW vendors (e.g. Cisco, Juniper etc.)

·         Self motivation

·         A ‘can do’ attitude

·         Good communication skills, oral and written

·         Innovative and able to devise creative solutions to complex business problems

·         Tenacity and drive to achieve results

·         Goal and results oriented

·         Ability to foster and develop customer contact networks for mutual business benefit
