Roles and Responsibilities

Job Description This individual will be responsible for design, implementation, testing and bug fixing of various features for clients storage products. In this individual contributor role, S/He will work closely with other team members, technical lead and manager to deliver new functionality and maintenance of existing functions. S/He will be expected to mentor new team members and will contribute in detailed design, code and test reviews. Experience: 8-12 years of industry experience in product architecture, design, development and testing in systems/file systems/storage space Technical Skills - Strong architecture, design and development experience in file systems and clustering - Strong skills in NAS product and protocols (CTDB, CIFS, NFS, iSCSI, NDMP) - Strong Linux system programming including kernel development and debugging tools - Strong system programming skills in C, C++ and shell scripting - Strong problem solving skills - Good performance optimization skills for complex clustered NAS software stack - Experience in File-based storage tools for remote replication, caching, and data migration Soft skills - Ability to form and articulate product vision and interact with customers and partners - Ability to provide thought leadership, accessing risk and driving innovation - Excellent communication, collaboration, interpersonal and mentoring skills
