Roles and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include the strategic test planning and tactical execution of test methodologies including automation, ad-hoc application testing, architecture/framework testing and performance & scalability testing strategies for enterprise web applications and systems. Primary Responsibilities: • Lead cross-functional, cross-company team members to ensure a high quality product release. • Lead change in the organization by designing and implementing process improvements and best practices that increase organizational efficiency and meet business needs. • Create concise, effective test strategies for product releases. • Develop work estimates, prioritize work and track project schedules in collaboration with project managers. • Execute all facets of the product testing such as functional, regression, end-to-end testing, performance and load testing. • Develop tools and scripts to execute automated and manual tests. • Create and reviews test plans, test cases, test metrics, and other QA documents to ensure sufficient coverage based on requirements and specifications. • Work closely with development to ensure desired level of quality and testability is built-in during design and implementation. Qualifications: • 9+ years of product development experience with 7+ years in QA. • 3+ years in leading, coaching and mentoring QA project teams. • Solid QA competency in software engineering with experience in the full software development life cycle (SDLC). Should have hands on experience in Design & development of Automation Test frameworks. • Passion for quality, process improvement, customer focus, flexibility and creativity in approaching test planning and execution. • Solid understanding of Unit, White-box, Functional, System, Performance, Technical and Operational testing and the industry tools utilized. • Experience planning and performing performance & capacity testing for large scale, data-intensive projects • Experience with Object Oriented programming languages such as Java /C++. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
