Roles and Responsibilities

Requirements Ø BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or equivalent Engineering degree. Ø 15+ years of experience in Software development and/or testing Ø 6+ years of Management experience Ø Proven track record of building technical teams from ground up, including hiring and motivating brilliant engineers, project planning and execution, working closely with product management teams, implementing and using SDLC processes and/or agile development processes Ø Active team participant with strong technical and personal leadership skills Ø Customer-focused, self-starter, able to triage issues, and react well to changes Ø Work independently and with multiple teams across remote locations, being able to multi-task on multiple products, projects while working with local and offshore teams Ø Strong hands-on experience writing QA test plans and test cases while executing them Ø Strong White box testing skills Ø Strong verbal and written communication and coordination skills Ø Experience testing Client / Server or Distributed applications Ø Experience in QA methodologies, procedures & documentation Ø Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Desirable Experiences/Skills: Ø Experience in shell scripting, PERL, Python desirable. Ø RDBMS (MySQL, Oracle) experience desirable Ø Programming experience in C++ or Java desirable. Ø Experience with automation tools (SILK, QTP, Selenium) Ø System level testing of multi-tier multi-server products desirable. Ø Vendor Management or Outsourced Product Development Experience desirable.
