The engineer will be the sole L3 contact in the team for all customer issues reported on RPT. His efforts will predominantly be on problem analysis, debugging, and reproducing the customer problems in-house. Once reproduced and proven to be a product issue, he would handover the problem to a component developer so the latter can fix the defect in the code, while the L3 engineer meanwhile moves to the next such customer issue for its analysis. candidate with some kind of systems experience would be preferred, since he will be debugging challenging customer issues that span the various RPT protocols (some networking/protocols kind of experience and/or exposure to performance testing is a definite plus).
