Roles and Responsibilities

Development :

 

•             C and data structures [[SN]]  C, data structures, OS concepts

•             L3 Protocols experience like  IP, OSPF, BGP, Multicast.[[SN]]  Add IS-IS

•             Protocols experience in l2 protocols like STP / RSTP , VLAN, LACP, MPLS

•             Protocol stack / RFC implementation experience is required.

•             Data plane experience is also fine with working knowledge on Broadcom, marvell SDK.

•             Porting experience will also be considered.

 

 

Testing :

 

o             Dev Testing.

o             Should be able to Own the test feature and able to understand the FR doc.

o             Should be able to design test strategy / plan, cases , time for owned feature.

o             Should execute the test cases.

o             Should automate the test cases by TCL  for submission to regression suite.

o             Should be expert in atleast one or two testing protocols like OSPF, IPv4, BGP, Multicast , IPv6.

o             Should have good understanding of Switching and layer 2 concepts.
